Powertrux Transport, although formed back in October of 2000, had its beginnings in the mid 1970’s. Powertrux is a partnership between two long established companies Ron Norton Transport Limited and R. J. Gagne Enterprises Limited, the principles being Ron Norton and Rick Gagne respectively. Both principles began as individual owner operators and by the late 1990’s were each operating modest fleets. In October of 2000, the two companies joined forces to create Powertrux Transport. Powertrux now operates a fleet of 45 trucks providing a variety of services in the Greater Vancouver area. The principles have also partnered in an affiliated company; Canada West Warehousing Ltd which is offering all aspects of logistics services and has to date 72,000 sq ft of warehousing space.
